Mary "Odessa" Davis

Mary “Odessa” Alexander Davis, age 88, of Valdosta, Georgia, formerly of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Mrs. Davis was born on March 15, 1934, in Alabama, to the late Rowland and Montyne Street Alexander. She worked as a supervisor for AT&T and was a former elder of Helen Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph McAlpin and Jordan Ray Davis; sister, Betty Alexander; nephew, R. Wayne Alexander, Jr. Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, R. Wayne and Barbara Alexander; niece, Amy Alexander Carter; great-niece, Mary Alexander Carter; great-nephew, Davis Carter; step-daughter and step-grandchildren, Gail, Lisa, and Natalie; numerous special friends also survive. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 11, 2022, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Mike Irvin and the Rev. Mike Davis will officiate. Interment will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 12:00 noon.
