Mary Patricia Sumner

  Mrs. Mary Patricia Sumner, age 85 of Clarkesville, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 with her loving daughters, Lynne and Maryette, by her side, aided by the Northeast Georgia Hospice North Team.   Mrs. Sumner was born October 4, 1932 in Conyers, GA to the late Ruby James and Mary Lou Frances Waits. She worked as a secretary for Gulf Oil Company and was also a member of Clarkesville United Methodist Church.   In addition to her parents and siblings, Mrs. Sumner is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Sumner.   Survivors include her daughter Maryette Mixon of Clarkesville; daughter Lynne Menard of Ormond Beach, FL, and son, Jeff White of Acworth, GA.   A memorial service for Mrs. Sumner will be held at 3:00PM Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Clarkesville United Methodist Church with Rev.
