Mrs. Maudie Mae Fair age 77 of Dahlonega passed away Sunday May 27, 2007 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Fair was born in White County the daughter of the late Will and Eva Armour Dyer. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jo Ann Casper and attended Lighthouse of Prayer. Survivors include sons, James Fair, Rocky Fair, Ronnie Fair, all of Dahlonega; son and daughter in law, Glenn and Diane Fair, Cornelia; daughters and sons in law, Patricia and Jerrell Ingram, Kathy and Ricky Casper, all of Dahlonega; sisters, Etta Fair, Wilene Gaddis, both of Gainesville, Vernell McDougald, Ruth Ward, both of Clermont; grandchildren she raised, Jessica Stringer, Jennifer Rider, both of Dahlonega; 13 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday May 30, 2007 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Glenn Fair and the Rev. Scott McQueen will officiate. Burial will follow.
