Merilyn Fowler

Mrs. Merilyn J. Fowler, age 90, of Marietta, formerly of Sautee Nacoochee, passed away Friday, July 12, 2024. Mrs. Fowler was born in Atlanta to the late John and Mary Dunn Ross. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Charles Ray Fowler and daughter, Kathleen Joyce Fowler. Mrs. Fowler was a homemaker and a longtime member of Mt. Yonah Baptist Church. Survivors include daughter, Iris Hartley, Marietta; grandchildren, James Daniel Hartley (Ashley), Knoxville, TN, and Thomas Robert Hartley (Kelsey), Snellville, GA; great-grandson, James Wesley Hartley, Snellville, GA. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, July 17, 2024 from The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Rev. Doug Merck will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Yonah Baptist Church Cemetery.
