Merriel Delvis Rainwater, Jr.

Mr. Merriel "Delvis" Rainwater, Jr., age 51 of Cleveland passed away on Friday, April 06, 2007. Born in Fulton County, Georgia on May 08, 1955, he was the son of the late Merriel Delvis Rainwater, Sr. and Fannie Mae Norris Rainwater. Mr. Rainwater worked as an Auto-Truck Repair Mechanic for many years. He was a member of the Helen First Baptist Church and attended Bethesda Fellowship Congregational Holiness Church. Survivors include his daughter, Elizabeth Rainwater, Cleveland; fiance', Alice Woodley, Cleveland; and 6 sisters. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2007 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Rich Hulsey and the Rev. Mark Gunter will officiate. Burial will follow in Yonah View Memorial Gardens in Cleveland. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. on Monday.
