Michael David Crane

Michael David Crane, age 55, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025. Mr. Crane was born on June 26, 1969, in Gainesville, Georgia, to Cecil and Wanda Adams Crane. Michael was a Christian man who loved God and was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church in Maysville, Georgia. He will be remembered as hardworking and as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Michael loved to hunt, fish, and ride motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Jeffery Simpson, Sr.; grandson, Oliver Spohn. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Amy Crane; daughter and son-in-law, Brelyn and Cody Spohn; son, Trey Crane; parents, Cecil and Wanda Crane; sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Grant Brumbaugh; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Becky and Roy Hay; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jeffery and Penny Simpson, Storm and Matthew Nelms, and Erica Simpson. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 1, 2025, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Mike Chappell and the Rev. Dave Fortner will officiate. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Baptist Church Cemetery.
