Michael Scott Gillespie

Mr. Michael Scott Gillespie, age 78, of Cleveland, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, November 9, 2019 He is survived by his children, Brett and wife Jennifer Gillespie and daughters, Mary Higbie and Lindsey Gillespie. Grandchildren include Brittany, Courtney, Brooklyn, Aaron and Triston as well as Christopher, Connor, Elizabeth and Casey. Mike is also survived by his great grandchildren, Kayden and Jackson. "Our loving Dad was a peaceful quiet man of few words, but with unforgettable actions for which have taught us much about how to live with kindness, acceptance, love and patience. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten. Go rest high Dad, on that mountain. Your work here is done." A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Mike's life will be held Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 6-8 PM at Cleveland United Methodist Church.
