Michael Dean Tow

Michael Dean Tow, age 63 of Cornelia, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2020. Mr. Tow was born on October 20, 1956, in Habersham County, to Jesse H. Jr and Virginia Winkler Tow. He was a self-employed farmer and a member of County Line Baptist Church. Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Clark Tow. Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Tow, Cornelia; parents, Jesse H. Jr and Virginia Tow, Cleveland; daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy Johnson (Steven), Springfield, LA, Ginny Kelley Simpson (Mitch), Cornelia, Katie Burgess (Michael), Demorest; sisters, Sharon Tow, Cumming, Marie Satterfield, Cleveland, Myra Fincher, Cleveland; grandchildren, Steven Paul Johnson, Jr., Kansas Johnson, Charlotte Johnson, Scarlet Johnson, Blake Kelley, Bailey Kelley, Brody Kelley, Mac Simpson, Abby Burgess, Izzy Burgess, and Michael Burgess, Jr. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Antioch Baptist Church. The Rev. Kip Lee, the Rev. Wilbur Ridings, the Rev. Matt Stowers, and the Rev. Carter Lee will officiate. Interment will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. & 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
