Mikel Hulsey

Mikel Neal Hulsey, age 64, of Cornelia, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021. Mr. Hulsey was born on April 9, 1957, in Demorest, Georgia, to Marcus and Cordelia Howard Hulsey. He was employed by Mt. Yonah Lumber Company. In addition to his parents, Mikel was preceded in death by his siblings, Dorothy Jones, Cathy Albrecht, Danny Hulsey, and Gene Hulsey. Survivors include his son, Joey Hulsey, Gainesville; daughter, Sonja Phillips, Cleveland; sisters, Shirley Eller, Cleveland, Patsy Sutton, Clarkesville, and Beverly Richardson, Cleveland; and a host of other family and friends also survive. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Royce Winters will officiate. Interment will follow at Yonah View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
