Mildred Bryant Brown of Cleveland, GA passed away peacefully Monday, January 17, 2022. Mildred was born on March 26 in Cleveland, GA to the late Parks and Vivian Morris Bryant. She was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church in Cleveland, Georgia. She retired after 29 years with the State of Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Services. She served her Lord by singing in numerous church choirs through the years, providing meals to friends in the community, co-chairing of Shoal Creek’s annual Georgia Baptist Children’s Home fundraiser and by shopping for children around the world to give them the opportunity to hear about Jesus. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Bryant. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Buddy Brown, Cleveland; daughter, Deidra Brown, Alabama; brother and sister-in-law, Lamar and Wanda Bryant, Cleveland; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church #2, 60 Mt. Zion Church Road, Murrayville, GA. The Rev. Stacy Dyer, The Rev. Roger Dunagan and Mr. John Bryant will officiate. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion #2 Church cemetery with Mr. Stan Kelley officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shoal Creek Baptist Church, P. O.
