Mildred Ridley

Mrs. Mildred Ridley, age 86 of Mt. Airy, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Gateway Health Care Center. Mrs. Ridley was born September 9, 1923 in Asheville, NC to the late Parley and Anna Morgan. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, David Ridley. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky and Brenda Ridley, Cleveland; Tony and Caroline Ridley, Baldwin; daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn and Allen Denson, Mt. Airy; daughters, Ellen Taylor and Kathy Smith both of Toccoa; Karen Tara, Homer; 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, June 5, 2010 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral. The Rev. Mickey Umberhant will officiate. Interment will follow in Gateway Memory Park.
