Milton O'Neal Ward

Mr. Milton O’Neal Ward, age 89, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021.

Mr. Ward was born in Habersham County to the late Milton and Minnie Hubbard Ward.  In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Fern London Ward; and brothers, Talmadge Ward, Pledger Ward, and Quillian Ward.  Mr. Ward served his nation in the US Navy, serving during the Korean War.  He was a warehouse worker for Talon and a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Mickey and Shirley Ward, Cleveland, and Milton and Roberta Ward, Cornelia; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Anna (his princess) and Jeremy Ledford; and special friend, Katie Penland.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Friday, April 23, 2021 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Rev. Brent Penland and Rev. Danny Kastner will officiate.  Interment will follow in Blue Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the funeral home.
