Minerva Eleanor Ward

Mrs. Minerva Eleanor Ward, age 90 of Cleveland, passed away Friday January 1, 2010 at Chatuge Regional Nursing Home. Mrs. Ward was born May 30, 1919 in Washington, D.C. to the late Charles and Blanche Buete Skinner. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Ward. Mrs. Ward was a member of Helen First Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Joan Marie and Samuel John Smith, Cleveland; daughter, Nancy Lee Gadsby, Hiawassee and 8 grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 7:00 P.M. Saturday, January 2, 2010 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Jim Holmes will officiate. Interment will be in Gulf Pines Memorial Park, Englewood, F.L.
