Mitchell Dale Smallwood

Mitchell Dale Smallwood age 41, of Hall County died unexpectedly on Tuesday June 30th, 2020. Mitchell was born October 26th, 1978 in Gainesville, Ga. He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Edward Smallwood, Loving mother Judy Elaine Carlan, brothers Steven Lee Smallwood and Daryl Preston Smallwood. Mitchell is survived by his daughter Faryn Dailee Smallwood and lifelong partner and friend Penny Jones Smallwood, sister-in-law Tiffany Smallwood of Gainesville, Ga; Sister and brother-in-law Angie and Terry Willard of Union, SC; brother, Jeryle Smallwood, of Lockhart SC; brother and sister-in-law Donald and Lisa Smallwood of Buford GA; brother Wayne Smallwood of Gainesville, GA; brother and sister-in-law Virgil and Ami Smallwood of Sugar Hill, Ga; brother and sister-in-law David and Stephanie Smallwood, along with many nieces and nephews. He will be missed. Mitchell was a loving father. He was blessed to work with his best friends of 27 years, Joshua Nicholson. Mitchell enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday July 25th, 2020 from 11am to 2pm with a balloon release at 1pm at the American Legion. 2343 Riverside Drive, Gainesville, GA 30501.
