Mrs. Alice Virginia Wall Kenimer

Mrs. Alice Virginia Wall Kenimer, age 99 of Baldwin, went home to be with Our Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 03, 2008 at the Oak Heritage Healthcare Facility following an extended illness. Born in High Point, North Carolina on March 30, 1909, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley Wall, Sr. and Florella Stout Wall. Mrs. Kenimer was a homemaker and a member of Line Baptist Church in Alto. She was preceded in death by her husband, Talmon Hoke Kenimer, infant son, Fredrick Hoke Kenimer, infant granddaughter, Melissa Leigh Payne, sisters, Mae Surrett, Louretha Whisnant, brothers, John Wesley “Cude” Wall, Jr., and Hobart Wall. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Jane K. and Eddie Payne, Clarkesville, GA; Charlye and Edward Christy, Old Fort, NC; grandchildren, Andrea Denise Worrell, Buford, GA; Courtenay Lee Christy, Statesboro, GA; Michelle Rene Payne, Clarkesville, GA; great-grandchildren, Chelsea Nicole Worrell, Jordan Bailey Worrell, both of Buford, GA; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 06, 2008 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Kenneth McEntire will officiate. Burial will follow in the Old Zion Cemetery at Faith Lutheran Church in Cleveland. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. on Monday.
