Mrs. Barbara Thomason Hester

Mrs. Barbara Jean Hester, age 68 of Cleveland passed away Thursday, January 17, 2008 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Hester was born Habersham County on January 9, 1940 to the late Harry Lee and Lorene Wike Thomason. She was a White County school bus driver for 28 years and a member of Emmanuel Gospel Fellowship Church. Survivors include: husband: Hoyt Hester, Cleveland; sons & daughter-in-laws: Lamar & Rhonda Hester, Helen; Dwayne & Beth Hester, Cleveland; Scott & Angie Hester, Dahlonega; John and Natalie Collins, Cleveland; sisters; Doris Thomason, Linda Nix , Evelyn Anglin, Lisa Hicks, all of Cleveland; Betty Wilson, NC, Debbie Smith, Murrayville; brothers: Leon Thomason and Danny Thomason, both of Cleveland; Wayne Thomason, Loganville; grandsons & granddaughter-in-law: Jason & Sheena Hester; grandsons: Brandon Hester, Kendall Hester, Justin Hester, Brandon Talley, Jake Jones, Peyton Collins; granddaughters: Jessica Hester, Joni Hester, Brittney Hester, Carlie Hester, Haley Hester, Abigail Warwick, Brianna Collins, Emily Jones; great-grandchildren: Kassity Hester and Mason Hester. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 19, 2008 in the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Anderson , Rev. James Wyatt and Rev. Brandon Hester officiating. Interment will follow in Emmanuel Gospel Fellowship Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00-9:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
