Mrs. Constance Ott Serra

Mrs. Constance Ott Serra, age 77 of Sautee passed away on Monday, April 28, 2008 at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Nurberg, Germany on November 12, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Adolf and Georgina Ott. Mrs. Serra had lived in Fort Lauderdale for around 37 years before moving to White County in November. Mrs. Serra was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Joseph Serra, daughter, Mary Christi, grandchildren, Gina Marie Christi, Jacqueline Sara Christi, Joseph “Joey” Christi, all of Sautee; and sister, Rosa Spiess, Nurberg, Germany. A memorial service is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 01, 2008 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Father Thad Rudd will officiate. Mrs. Serra’s wishes were to be cremated. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday following the service.
