Mrs. Lois Alexander Tomlin

Mrs. Lois Alexander Tomlin, age 84 of Cleveland, passed away Monday March 31, 2008 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Tomlin was born on March 17, 1924 to the late Ed and Eliza Smith Alexander. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Tomlin, son William Cecil Tomlin, sisters: Betty Loggins, Rosie Jean Tomlin Dyer and brothers: Coy, Ronald, Jake, Raymond, Laymon, and Joe Alexander. Mrs. Tomlin was a member of New Bridge Baptist Church. Survivors include: brothers: Bill Alexander and Donald Alexander, Cleveland; special great-great nephew and niece: Bailey Young and Kali Young, numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 2, 2008 from New Bridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Phillip Robinson and Rev. Chris Alexander officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 01, 2008 from 6-9 pm.
