Myra Jean Potter

Mrs. Myra Jean Potter, age 44 of Gainesville passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2009 following a sudden illness. Mrs. Potter was born in Lumpkin County to Vivian Anderson Gooch and the late Ray Gooch. She was a caregiver and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her mother: Vivian Gooch, Gainesville; brothers: Bobby Gooch, Cornelia; Ricky Gooch, Cleveland; Roger Gooch, Cleveland; nephew: Jason Gooch, Cleveland; aunt: Frances Gilstrap, Cleveland and special friend: Robert Pirkle, Cleveland. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 6, 2009 from Solid Rock Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Sargent officiating with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
