Nancy Ann Hurd

Nancy Ann Hurd, age 90, of Dahlonega, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017. Mrs. Hurd was born in Lumpkin County to the late William Henry and Martha Ann Eaton White.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Arthur Glen Hurd, son, Delmar Roy White and brother, Dewitt White.  Mrs. Hurd was a homemaker and a member of Community Chapel Church.  Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Jim and Patti Hurd, Pace, Florida; daughter and son in law, Rachel Ann and James Riggins, Sharpsburg; daughter in law, Mardell White, Dahlonega; grandchildren, Jenny Ann Hurd, Nancy Hurd, Betsy Hurd, Will Riggins, David and Kellie White, Daniel and Lisa White; great-grandchildren, Nora Hurd, Bethany Hurd, Helen Hurd, Jordan and Carrie White, Jamie and Whitney White, Tanya White, and Dale White; great-great grandchildren, Carly White, Brenleigh White and Elizabeth White; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 am Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from Community Chapel Church.  The Rev. Jack Enloe and Rev. Bernice Collins will officiate.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. Monday, December 18th at the funeral home.
