Nellie M Kinsey

Nellie Mae Kinsey, age 89, of Cleveland, passed away from an extended illness on Tuesday, June 20, 2017.   Mrs. Kinsey was born December 7, 1927 in White County to the late Ozzie and Ella Mae Dalton McCallister. Nellie was a homemaker and faithfully attended Mt. Vernon Holiness Church until her illness. She was a very good Christian and loving mother and enjoyed gardening and farm life.  Mrs. Kinsey was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Kinsey and son, Ray Kinsey.   Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Nelms; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Eve Kinsey; daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Barry Payne; and daughter-in-law, Glenda Kinsey, all of Cleveland; brother and friend, Leroy McCallister and Lillie Ash, Mt. Airy; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Judy McCallister, Demorest; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.   Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Thursday, June 22, 2017, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Barry Payne, Rev. Lou Franklin, and Rev.
