Nellie Ramey Sosebee

Mrs. Nellie Ramey Sosebee age 79 of Sautee-Nacoochee passed away Sunday February 18, 2007 at Northeast Ga Medical Center following a brief illness. Mrs. Sosebee was born in White County, Georgia on May 05, 1927 the daughter of the late Grover F. and Mae Adams Ramey. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Nettie Stargel, sister, Bertha Satterfield and grandson, Joseph Wayne Ferguson. Mrs. Sosebee was a homemaker and member of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include her husband, J.R. Sosebee, Sautee-Nacoochee; sons & daughters in law, Joseph Richardson (Jackie) & Brenda Sosebee, Cleveland, James Edward and Carolyn Sosebee, Sautee-Nacoochee; daughters and sons in law, Delores Rebecca & Stanley Ansley, Fairburn, Ramona Jeanette & Dennis Newton, Sautee-Nacoochee, Mary Ann & Earl Dean Anderson, Cleveland; sisters, Olene Gaddis, Geneva Forrester, both of Gainesville, Beulah Hulsey, Cleveland; brother, Edward Ramey, St. Petersburg, FL; 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday February 20, 2007 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Milton Harris and the Rev. Matt Stephens will officiate. Burial will follow in Nacoochee United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
