Nelson Dennis Peloquin, Sr.

Mr. Nelson Dennis Peloquin, Sr., age 55 of Cleveland, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2007 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville following a sudden illness. Born in Holyoke, Massachusetts on October 05, 1951, he was the son of the late Norman R. and Aurelia Lincourt Peloquin. Mr. Peloquin served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam, had lived in White County for the past 32 years, and was a former Ranger Instructor at Camp Frank D. Merrill. He was a probation officer for many years. Survivors include his wife, Jane Peloquin, Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Nelson Dennis, Jr. and Rene Peloquin, Demorest; brother and sister-in-law, Norman (Buddy) and Pat Peloquin, Chicopee, MA; sister and brother-in-law, Michele and Richard Fasoli, Holyoke, MA; sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Brad Irwin, Monson, MA; sisters, Sandra Deyo, Chicopee, MA; Linda McKinnon, Holyoke, MA; granddaughter, Karah Nell Peloquin, and grandson, Nelson Peloquin, III both of Demorest; Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2007 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Chris Anderson will officiate. Interment will follow in the Nine Mile United Methodist Church Cemetery on Friday at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday.
