Mr. Nickolas Harold Harkins, age 30 of Cleveland passed away Tuesday, September 07, 2010 following an automobile accident. Mr. Harkins was born July 27, 1980 in Habersham County to Hazel Ulene Arrowood and James Terry Harkins. He was self employed in the construction industry. Survivors include: son: Alex Harkins, Sautee; daughter: Alexis Harkins, Sautee; mother: Ulene Harkins, Cleveland; father: Terry Harkins Toccoa; brother and sister-in-law: Michael Joel and Elizabeth Harkins, Toccoa and grandmother: Grapell Harkins, Blairsville; mother of his children: Alison Hilton, Sautee; fiance’ and children: Candi Hood, Cleveland; Jeremiah Hood, Dakota Hood and Madison Hood, Cleveland. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 10, 2010 at Barrett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Dalton, Rev. W. A. Jenkins and Rev. L.J. Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
