Nora Corbin Gold

Mrs. Nora Corbin Gold, age 94, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Gold was born in Lumpkin County on March 31, 1918 to the late Benjamin and Martha Ravan Corbin. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son Edward Whitten Anders. She was a member of the Sunshine Club, Eastern Star, Woodmen of the World and Cleveland First Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Elaine and Bob Moore, Cleveland; grandsons, Robert Shawn Moore, Washington, D.C.; Edward W. Moore, Summerville, S.C.; granddaughters, Sara Vince, Valparaiso, IN; Rebecca Hughes, Hobart, IN; great granddaughter, Lindsey N. Moore, Summerville, SC.; several nieces and nephews Funeral services are scheduled for 1 P.M. Friday July 13, 2012 at Barrett Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Dennis Turner, Mr. Larry Fricks and The Rev. Paul Flynn will officiate. Interment will follow in Town Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M.
