Norma Hutchinson, age 73, of Blairsville, Georgia passed away peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2026. 

Born on May 25, 1953, in Oakland, California, Norma was the beloved daughter of the late John and Mary Diaz. 

She dedicated many years of her life to a successful career as a retail manager, where she was known for her strong work ethic, kindness, and leadership. 

At the age of 16, Norma married the love of her life, Thomas Hutchinson. Together they built a beautiful life, sharing 57 years of unwavering love, devotion, and cherished memories. Their marriage was a testament to lifelong commitment and the enduring strength of true love.

In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her beloved son, Thomas Hutchinson Jr. and her brother, Edward Becera. 

She leaves behind her devoted husband, Thomas Hutchinson; her loving daughters, Laura Hicks and husband Troy of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Deborah Glenn and husband Steve of Pensacola, Florida; her cherished grandchildren, Justin, Simon, Jasmine, Jessika, Matthew, Seth, Madison, and Skyler; and her dear siblings, Frank, Cynthia, Diana, Connie, John, Belinda, and Daniel. She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will forever treasure her memory. In accordance with the family’s wishes, no formal services are scheduled at this time, as loved ones are spread throughout the country. Norma’s celebration of life will be held at a later date.
