Ola Fay Robbins

Ola Fay Baker Robbins, age 89 of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, April 09, 2013 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Robbins was born May 6, 1923 in Union County, Mississippi to the late Ocie and Ula Deaton Baker. She was a homemaker and a member of Union Baptist Church in Griffin, GA. Mrs. Robbins was preceded in death by her husband Lamar Robbins. Survivors include her sons, Roger Robbins, Forrest Park, GA; Dr. Donald Robbins, Cleveland, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Mike Sigers, Woodruff, SC; granddaughter, Courtney Robbins; step granddaughter, Tammy Manning; step great granddaughter, Lillie Kate Manning. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Union Baptist Church, Griffin, GA. The Rev. Tim Conort will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens, Griffin, GA. Mrs. Robbins will lie in state at the Church Saturday from 2-3 PM prior the funeral service. The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM Friday at the funeral home.
