Ola Mae Ward

Mrs. Ola Mae Ward age 93 of Cullman Alabama formerly of Cleveland passed away peacefully Friday April 18, 2008 at the Woodland Medical Center in Cullman, AL. following an extended illness. Mrs Ward was born January 2, 1915 in White County the daughter of the late John and Hester Oliver Armour. She was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Clarence Ward, two sons, Bobby and Ray Ward, daughter, Betty Witherington, and a granddaughter, Rhonda Roth. Survivors include daughters and sons in law, Reba and Pete Buckley, Cullman, AL., Nelda and Ron DiDominico, Ormond Beach, FL.; daughter in law, Gayle Coly Ward, St. Augustine, FL; grandchildren, Diana and Tom Strickland, Dena and Jeff Hendrix, Teresa and Chris Kelley, Tammy and Scott Ferguson, Doug Roth, Gary Lee Nelson Jr. and Dawn, Kimberly and Eddie Nelson, Joseph and Kim Witherington, Billy Ward, Jimmy and Marilyn Balaban, Tracie and Virgil Stanfiels, Tina and Vashaun Vernon, Travis and Barbara Ward, Terry Ward, Michael Mullis; great grandchildren, Austin Tubb, Lauren and Dan Soukup, Natalie and John Dottley, Benjamin Hendrix, Jake Hendrix, Graham Hendrix, Dillon Bonds, Cameron Ferguson, Cassie Ferguson, Melissa Motte, Mandy and James Power, Jessie and Kevin Hart, Holly Vernon, Joey and Travis Miller, Robert and William Meeks, Gary Lee Nelson III, Kristina Renee’ Nelson, Travis Scott Coleman, Zachary Nelson Miller, Benjamin and Victoria Witherington, Lacey and Danilla Ward; great great grandchildren, Cora Dottley, Breeze Motte and Summer Motte, Tyler and Tori Hart. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday April 22, 2008 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Flynn will officiate. Burial will follow in Union Grove Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
