Paul Bowen

Paul Adolph Bowen, age 65, of Clermont, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. Mr. Bowen was born on January 27, 1958, in Gainesville, Georgia, to the late Henry and Jimmie Savage Bowen. He was a self-employed poultry farmer and a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. Paul was a loving husband, dad, Papa, and friend to many. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, George Bowen and John Bowen. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Reba Bowen; sons and daughters-in-law, Jacob and Megan Bowen, and Joab and Brittney Bowen; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Matthew Haynes; grandchildren, McCall Bowen, Scout Bowen, Macie Bowen, Caraline Bowen, River Bowen, Luke Haynes, Beau Haynes, and Seth Haynes; brothers, Bill Bowen, James Bowen, Tim Bowen, Tommy Bowen, and David Bowen; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Holly Springs Baptist Church. The Rev. Josh Chatham and the Rev. Kyle Savage will officiate. Interment will follow in Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
