Paul Leon Dotson

Paul Leon Dotson, age 89, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023. Paul Dotson was born on January 27, 1934, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Dewey and Myrtle Dotson. He was a self-employed mortgage broker. Paul was Vice President and Branch Manager of both the Atlanta residential and commercial division of the Kissell Company, a subsidiary of Pittsburgh National Bank. He was the founder (June 1982) and owner of Mid-American Mortgage Corp. where he brokered commercial loans for shopping centers, high-rise condos and apartment buildings in and outside of the Atlanta area until he retired in 2005. Paul was highly thought of in the mortgage business and had many life-long friends. Paul was a generous and thoughtful person. Survivors include his wife, Katrina Dotson, Gwinnett County; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Heidi Dotson, Cleveland; grandson, Tyler Dotson, Cleveland; granddaughter, Jessie Dotson, Metairie, LA; 3 great-grandchildren.
