Paul Kozoroz, age 86, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026.
Mr. Kozoroz was born on June 11, 1939, in Crimea, Ukraine, to the late Nickolai Bolschow & Magdalena Buchmann Kozoroz. At the age of 12, he immigrated to the United States, where he developed a deep love for his country and a strong sense of patriotism. Inspired at a young age, Paul began his military career as a teenager, serving four years in the National Guard. Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served for five years, before continuing his distinguished career in the United States Navy. Paul proudly served an additional 25 years in the Navy and retired as a Chief Warrant Officer 4. Over the course of his long and honorable service, he completed three tours in Vietnam, dedicating his life to the service of his country. In addition to his parents, Mr. Kozoroz was preceded in death by his sister, Natalie Fuchs.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Glenda Kozoroz; son and daughter-in-law, Nick and Birgitt Kozoroz; daughter, Tina Marie Kozoroz; son in law, Mark Reed; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jenny Kozoroz; grandchildren, Joshua and Angela Kozoroz, Seth Kozoroz, and Skye Kozoroz; Chris Largent; Nichole Lea Barrett; great-grandson, AJ Kozoroz; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 7, 2026, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Mr. Ron Webb and the Rev. Victor Mack Gregory will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the funeral home, prior to the funeral service.
