Pauline Holcomb Rogers

Mrs. Pauline Holcomb Rogers age 86 of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, November 06, 2007 at Gold City Nursing Home following an extended illness. Mrs. Rogers was born in White County on October 23, 1921 to the late Jasper Daniel and Naomi Smith Holcomb. She was also preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. R. L. Rogers, infant children, Cora Lee, Joy and Terry Rogers and a sister, Mae Knight: She was a homemaker and a member of Blue Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include, son and daughter-in-law: Dan and Debbie Holcomb, Baldwin; grandchildren, Skye Holcomb, Savannah; Jordan Holcomb, Baldwin; sisters, Ethel Bristol, Sautee; Pearl Allen, Clarkeville; Oma Lee Crawford, Kingsport, TN; brothers, J. D. Holcomb, Cornelia; Lawrence Holcomb, Chamblee; Homer Holcomb, Mt. Airy. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 09, 2007 at Blue Creek Baptist Church. The Rev. Jack Pierce and the Rev. Howell Smallwood will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
