Percy Frank Martin Iii

Mr. Percy Frank “Trey” Martin III, age 46, of Clarkesville, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019. Mr. Martin was born in Mobile Alabama to Frank and Joan Martin, but raised in Daphne, Alabama.  He graduated from McGill-Toolen High School in Mobile, Alabama, and attended the University of South Alabama.  Mr. Martin volunteered with the White County Humane Society and was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide Fan.  He was an active member of AA and attended Helen Presbyterian Church. Mr. Martin enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and was an avid animal lover. Survivors include parents, Frank and Joan Martin, Clarkesville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Allison and Steve Boykin, Clarkesville, and Tara and Seth Morrison, Charlottesville, VA; nephews, Graham Morrison, Julian Morrison; nieces, Cecelia Morrison, and Amelia Morrison; aunts and uncles, Judy and Steve Sholtis, Kathy and Keith Acton, Jennifer and Mike Plaskett, Ann and Don Fuller, Kay Martin, and Cecelia Martin; and baby dog, Rosie and many loving cousins. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 pm Sunday, May 19, 2019, at Helen Presbyterian Church.  Dr. Roe Callaway Jr. will officiate with Allison Boykin delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow in Helen Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm Sunday at the church prior to the service.
