Perry "Doug" Postell

Mr. Perry “Doug” Postell, age 81, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2026.

Mr. Postell was born in White County to the late William Roy and Bonnie Gertrude Winkler Postell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Barbara Chastain Postell and Sherry Darlene Postell. Mr. Postell was a graduate of Truett McConnell University and served 23 years of his career in the US Navy.

Survivors include his daughters, Kim Wilson and Deborah Kennedy; grandchildren, Darline Rodriguez, Jennifer Dalton, Michael Wilson, Danielle Meeks, and Brooke Bird; brothers, Dennis Postell and Dwight Postell; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will hold private services at a later date.
