Phillip Johnny Chumbler

Barrett Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Phillip Johnny Chumbler, age 58 of Cleveland. Mr. Chumbler passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2006 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness. Born in Hall County, Georgia on January 01, 1948, he was the son of the late Raymond Clyde and Oma Mae Reynolds Chumbler. Mr. Chumbler was in the farming industry most of his life. Mr. Chumbler's wishes were to be cremated. Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2007 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Phil Allen will officiate. Survivors include his wife, Janie Gill Chumbler, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Sran Parkinson, Boise, ID; Margaret Chumbler; step-daughters, Tina Kohagen, Gainesville; Rhonda Ann Bartlett, Gainesville; Bonnie Maness, Cleveland; 4 grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; best friend, Joe Walker, Annapolis, Maryland; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
