Mr. Phillip Wayne Palmer, age 67, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, October 3, 2008 at his daughter’s residence following an extended illness.
Mr. Palmer was born in White County on July 20, 1941 to the late Lee Palmer and Edith Palmer Barrett. He was veteran serving in the United States Army. Mr. Pamer was the Owner of Wayne Palmer Logging Company and a member of Cleveland First Baptist Church.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Sunday, October 5, 2008 from The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul McKinley and The Rev. Chris Anderson will officiate. Interment will follow in Yonah View Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 3-9 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife Brenda Palmer, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law Paige and Casey Tatum, Cleveland; son Lee Palmer, Cleveland; sisters Pat McAfee, Cleveland; Margie Black, Cleveland; brother Ricky Barrett, Cleveland; grandchildren Ally, Anna, and Caroline Tatum, all of Cleveland.
