Powell J. Dyer

  Mr. Powell J. Dyer, age 70, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.   Mr. Dyer was born in White County the son of the late Watson and Fannie West Dyer. He was preceded in death by his brother, Narve Dyer. Mr. Dyer was a retired Dairy Farmer and member of Old Nacoochee Baptist Church.   Survivors include his sister, Rachel Berry, Cleveland; nephews, Homer Dyer (Melinda), Grady Berry (Patti); 7 nieces, 6 nephews: 8 great nieces, 7 great nephews; several cousins.   Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Wednesday at Old Nacoochee Baptist Church. The Rev. Joel Shadburn and the Rev. Danny Kastner will officiate.
