Preston Lee English

Mr. Preston Lee English, age 78 of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020. Mr. English was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late Buster English and Vera McKinley Roberts. In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by son, David English and step-father, Garland Roberts. Mr. English retired with 30 years of service to Unicoi State Park and also retired from Pan Am Airlines. He was a member of Center Baptist Church. Survivors include wife, Vickie English, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Dan Ferris, Gainesville; step-son and step-daughter-in-law, Jared and Jenna Turner, Cleveland; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Ray Fox, Orlando, FL; and grandchildren, Jessica Ferris, Sonia Ferris, Mackenzie Turner, and Alexa Turner. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 A.M. Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Wilkes and Rev. Lewis Fortner will officiate. Interment will follow in Gateway Memory Park. The family will receive friends from 5-7 P.M. Monday, November 16, 2020 at the funeral home.
