Ray James Clarke Jr.

Ray James Clarke, Jr. age 67 of Clarkesville passed away Saturday April 25, 2009 at Mission Memorial Hospital in Asheville, NC. Mr. Clarke was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia the son of the late Ray James Sr and Ruby Auville Clarke. He was a minister and especially enjoyed nursing home ministry. Mr. Clarke was a member of Trinity Full Gospel Church in Cleveland and a veteran serving in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Karen Clarke, Clarkesville; step sons and daughters in law, Joseph & Desta Nania, Port Charlotte, FL, Jonathan & Katherine Nania, Boston, MA; step daughter, Kim Nania, Largo, FL; step great grandchildren, Kailyn, Joy & Anthony Nania; sisters, Velda Blair, Barbara Bailey, Yvonne Hardman, Jeanette Nelson, all of WV., Lillian Loar, AZ, Linnie Bradley, OH; brother, Bobby Clark, AZ. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday April 30, 2009 at Trinity Full Gospel Church. The Rev. Dennis Taylor will officiate. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
