The Rev. Dr. Joe Louis Vernon, age 91 of Cleveland. Rev. Vernon passe away, Friday, September 4, 2026. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at Shoal Creek Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and again on Monday from 10:00 am to 1:00pm. Rev. Vernon will lie in state at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 until the service hour.
