Rev. Teddy Allen

Theodore “Teddy” Bryan Allen age 58 of Cleveland passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Allen was born on May 31, 1956 in Demorest, Ga to the late Thomas and Thelma Palmer Allen. He was in the construction business and also in ministry work for 31 years. Mr. Allen was the pastor of Liberty Baptist Church for the last 15 years. He also pastored Damascus Baptist Church, Mossy Creek Baptist Church and Blue Creek Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by brothers, Joe Allen and Warren Allen. Survivors include his wife, Cindy Allen, Cleveland; daughter, Amanda Allen, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Maranda and Michael Hewell, Cleveland; grandchildren, Jereth Hewell, Hannah Hewell, and Drayton McGinnis, all of Cleveland; brothers, Michael Allen, Cleveland, and Tony Allen, Homer; sisters, Sandra Elder, Cumming; Annette Brown, Cleveland; Judy Smith, Cleveland; Cathy Thomason, Cleveland; Miriam Hammond, Cleveland; Jennifer Vandiver, Cleveland. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM Friday, October 10, 2014 at Liberty Baptist Church. The Rev. Greg Poole, Rev. Dwayne Ryles, Rev. Kip Lee and Rev. Mark Gunter will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
