Rev. Vernon Winkler

Rev. Vernon Winkler, age 84, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, August 18th, 2020. Mr. Winkler was born July 30th, 1936 to the late Gordon Winkler and Rachael Gilleland Winkler. Vernon was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and he was a beloved school bus driver for White County. He also worked as a farmer and owned his own sawmill. He is preceded in death by his parents as well as siblings, Sue Winkler and Ishmeal Winkler. Mr. Winkler is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lucille Collins Winkler; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry Jean and Fredrick Janoski, Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, James Vernon and Doris Winkler, Cleveland; grandchildren, Samantha L. Janoski, Dalton J. Winkler, Danielle R. Janoski, and Joseph V. Janoski; siblings; Irene Jarrard, Lois Seabolt, Bonnie Vaughan, Sandra McJunkin, Debra Grizzle and Charlotte Grizzle. Graveside services are scheduled for Thursday August 20th, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Antioch Baptist Church. The Rev. Wayne Turk will officiate.
