Rhonda Griffin

Rhonda Gail Griffin, age 65, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025.

Mrs. Griffin was born on September 11, 1960, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Carl Donald Smithwick and Mildred Marie Ware Smithwick. In addition to her parents, Rhonda was preceded in death by her husband, Alan Clinton Griffin.

Rhonda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed boating on Lanier with her husband and many trips to the beach throughout the years. Her greatest accomplishment in life was her family, and she will be forever loved.

Survivors include her daughter, Ashlee Trammel (Jason Henderson); son, Adam Trammel; grandchildren, Mason Trammel and Camilla Trammel; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Mitchell Wheeler; beloved nephews also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Thursday, October 2, 2025, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. Greg Burgner will officiate. Interment will follow in Yonah View Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the funeral service.
