Richard Lee Adams

Mr. Richard Lee Adams, age 50, of Helen, died Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Northeast GA Medical Center following a sudden illness. Mr. Adams was born in Hall County on January 20, 1959. He was preceded in death by his Father Lamb Adams, sister Marilyn Adams, and father in law Davis Abernathy. Mr. Adams was the owner of Richard Adams Landscaping and Hydro-Seeding for 20 years. He faithfully attended Mt. View Baptist Church. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Sunday, May 3, 2009 from the chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Dave Fortner, Rev. Terry Head, and Rev. Larry Forrester will officiate. Interment will follow in the Chattahoochee Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 P.M. and 6-9 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife Missy Abernathy Adams, Helen; daughters Autumn and Rylee Adams both of Helen; mother Ola Adams Masters, Cleveland; sister and brother in law Brenda and Lambert Pilgrim, Helen; mother in law Elizabeth Abernathy, Cleveland; brothers in law and sisters in law Ted and Carrie Abernathy Seattle, WA; Steve and Bonnie Abernathy Seattle WA; nephew Anthony Pilgrim; nephew and niece Timothy and Kristie Pilgrim; great nieces Shelly Pilgrim, McKenzie Pilgrim; great nephew Wyatt Pilgrim all of Cleveland; nephews Jeb Abernathy, Mac Abernathy, and Bradley Abernathy all of Seattle WA.
