Richard Allen Anderson

Richard Allen Anderson, age 79, of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023. Mr. Anderson was born on February 19, 1944, in Boise, Idaho, to the late James Allen Anderson and Mildred Dorsey Anderson. He was a retired teacher for the White County Board of Education and a member of Mossy Creek United Methodist Church. Survivors include his daughter, Libbye (David) Sills; son, Darrell (Connie) Anderson; grandchildren, Kristen (Glen) Gosnell, Daniel (Lindsey) Sills, Lauren (Austin) Jarrard, and Alyssa (Dylan) Wiley; great-grandchildren, Easton Gosnell, Cooper Gosnell, Casen Sills, Emma Rae Sills, Ellie Sills, and Brooklyn Wiley. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Kyle Savage will officiate. Interment will follow in Mossy Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
