Richard Allen Wensing

Mr. Richard Allen Wensing, Sr. age 86 of Cleveland passed away, Sunday, December 21, 2008 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Wensing was born December 15, 1922 in Dearborn MI to the late Herbert Bernard and Hazel MacCammon Wensing. He was also preceded in death by his wife Shirley Ann Wensing. He had worked as an electrician in the commercial and residential housing industry. Mr. Wensing was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a Mason and member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Michigan and had lived here in White county for 22 years. He is survived by his son and daughter in law: Richard Allen & Elizabeth Wensing II, West Palm Beach, FL: daughters and sons in law: Linda Wensing and James Mutch, Hobe Sound, FL and Janice & Frank Venza, Cleveland; sisters: Doris Ayers, Deltona, FL and Audrey Karr, MI; grandchildren: Kim Mutch Cook, Jupiter, FL; Laura Wensing, West Palm Beach, FL; Susie Mutch, Palm Beach Garndens; Jeffery Venza, Cumming; Trey Wensing, Lake Worth, FL; Jaclyn Smith, Cleveland and Mathew Wensing, West Palm Beach, FL and great-grandchildren: Shyanne Mutch, Tyler Chin-lenn, Emma Wensing, Joshua Venza, Addison Wensing, Jack Wensing and Brayden Smith. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 24, 2008 from Faith Lutheran Church with Pastor Mike McCormick. Entombment will follow in Yonah View Memorial Gardens.
