Rita Steen

Rita Malone Steen, age 70, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, June 4th, 2026.

Mrs. Steen was born on April 1, 1956, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Everett and Frances Malone. She was a co-owner and operator of AAA Appliance Sales & Service inc. and was a member of St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church. Rita was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, a woman who always took care of others before herself. She was the heart of her family and spent her life bringing them together and teaching them what it meant to love one another, being there for one another and staying connected through every season of life. She will be deeply missed, but her love, faith and example will live on in all of us.

In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by her brother Michael Malone.

Survivors include Richard Steen her Husband ; her son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Bridget Steen; son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Angela Steen; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Amanda Steen; daughter, Kerri Steen; brother, Patrick Malone; sister, Christine Shroeder; 14 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 2:00 P.M Friday, June 12, 2026, at St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 P.M Thursday June 11, 2026, at the funeral home.
