Robert (Bob) Ernest Irish

Robert Ernest Irish, age 92, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014. Mr. Irish was born in Cleveland, Ohio the son of the late Marmaduke T. Irish and Hazel Horne Irish. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Lou Irish. Mr. Irish was a farmer and a member of the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection. He was very active in the community serving as a past member of the Rotary Club, Casa, Middle School Mentor, and volunteered at Smithgall Woods and the Appalachian Trail. Mr. Irish served his country in World War II in the United States Marine Corp. Survivors include his son and daughter-in- law, Charles R. and Anne V. Irish, Middleton, Wisconsin; daughter, Susan I. Wedwaldt, Cleveland; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 6, 2014, at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection. Father Scott Kidd will officiate. The family will receive friends after the service in the fellowship hall.
