Robert Cantrell

Robert Henry Cantrell, age 80 of Commerce, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at his residence.   Mr. Cantrell was born on May 10, 1937 in Cleveland, Georgia to the late Coleman and Mary Henderson Cantrell. He worked in the construction business and was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Cantrell was preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Cantrell; sister, Dean Ramey; brothers, Charles Cantrell and David Cantrell.   Survivors include his wife, Doris Cantrell, Commerce; daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Donnie Angel, Commerce; Virginia and Nathan Gay, Flowery Branch; daughter, Becky Cantrell, Bethlehem; sons, Bryan Cantrell, Flowery Branch and Allen Cantrell, Commerce; sisters, Evelyn Deaton, Cumming, Gladys Nichols, Cumming, Joann Tatum, Buford, Brenda Cantrell, Buford; brothers, Mike Cantrell, Jefferson, Broadus Cantrell, Buford; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.   Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Friday, October 6, 2017 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Dave Fortner will officiate. Interment will follow at Blue Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.   The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 P.M.
