Robert Hilts

Robert Don Hilts, age 79 of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Habersham Medical Center. Mr. Hilts was born June 4, 1931 in Flushing, Michigan to the late Clifford and Muriel Allen Hilts. He was Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, a member of the American Legion and a member of the VFW. Mr. Hilts was preceded in death by his brothers Dean Hilts and Gordon Hilts. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Hilts, Cleveland, GA; children and spouses, Debra and Stan Cichoracki, North Branch, MI; Keith and Kim Hilts, Cleveland, GA; Kevin and Tisa Hilts, Fostoria, MI; Kay and Dave Nellenbach, Marietta, GA; Patty Fulkerson, Cleveland, GA; John Korhonen; Cleveland, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Marlyn and John Plain, Silverwood, MI; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday, January 16, 2011 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Marc Turner will officiate. Interment will follow in VFW Cemetery.
